I emailed Dipple on Saturday 11-15-13 to schedule an appointment to hardwire our new range. We didnt feel comfortable attempting ourselves particularly with a 37 yr old condo that has aluminum wires that must be connected to a cooper wire range. Aaron arrived 10 AM Monday morning. In addition to wiring the stove he replaced our badly aging junction box. The breaker for the range is outside. While out there Aaron noticed one of our electrical lines that should have been buried or placed in conduit by whoever did work prior to our buying the condo was exposed above ground and damaged most likely by the landscaping crew. Aaron replaced the wiring and placed in protective conduit. He also discovered poor wiring to our heat pump which he rewired.
While not an inexpensive day we appreciated the promptness of Dipple in scheduling us and the thoroughness of Aaron in discovering safety/pending failure issues, advising us of what the issue was & getting our permission to perform the work before doing so. Aaron was highly professional, courteous, thorough & detailed in his explanations. We appreciated his explaining each issue he discovered & potential consequences if left uncorrected. We knew from prior experience the wiring in this condo isnt great so asked him to look for and correct any potential safety issues which he did in an extremely satisfactory fashion.
This is our 2nd service experience with Dipple and certainly would use them again. They are prompt scheduling and their electricians are personable and thorough. In talking with each extensively while they worked it became readily apparent they werent just doing a job as quickly as possible to get to the next call but were thorough in checking not only what called here for but other issues that could be potential safety issues in the future.
We try to do as much home repairs/upgrades as possible ourselves to save money but when dealing with electricity with all its potential hazards we prefer professionals. I initially selected Dipple by locating it online & noticing prior reviewers gave it great ratings. Now based on personal experience we will continue using them.
