Several years ago, 2 days before Thanksgiving, our painter was coming down the stairs (carpeted) when the can of paint slipped from his hand, and there was paint on the walls, landing and carpeted stairs. Yes, we were terrified. I immediately started calling carpet cleaners. Eric, owner of Haines and Croft answered and said, "wet every rag, towel or whatever and keep the area's covered, and I'll be there in one hour". He was here in thirty minutes, and within an 1 1/2 hours the walls, and stairs were clean, ready for guests arrival the following day. And yes, I've used their services ever since.
