I rented a 5 bedroom 3 bathroom house from Don Walker. At first I was a little intimidated because they are very strict and come off as a little intimidating because of that. I met one of the previous tenants who just moved out when I first moved in and they told me that they didn't get their deposit back. (which scared me!) Turns out their dog destroyed the property and that's why they didn't get it back! (there were tons of scratches on the bathroom door and flooring in my house from their dog.) I met 2 other tenants that were renting from them that had no problem and said they always got their deposit back. \r

Worrying about renting from them turned out to be a big waste of energy because they never gave me a problem. I am a good tenant- I always had my rent in early and made it a priority to take care of the property I was staying in. They never took advantage of me & always appreciated my efforts of being a good tenant. (The lawn was always mowed, we never parked in the grass, or disturbed the neighbors, etc.) Whenever something broke they always sent the repair guy over to fix it asap.( Although, that only happened a few times.) Repair guy was very nice. Even helped me with some things he wasn't required to! Like hooking up my washer and drier. \r

We just moved out of the house we were renting from them and the cleaning list was very detailed--(honestly took me about a week to complete because the house was so big) BUT we did get our full deposit back. I developed a very good relationship with Don Walker and would recommend them to others! Just take care of their property and be sure to have your rent in on time and they will be very good to you. They have to be strict because they have had to deal with some bad tenants in the past. I just got my real estate license so I understand that as I have heard many horror stories about bad tenants. I am grateful to have gotten a chance to rent from them & will miss renting from them in the future. \r

My advice to anyone considering renting from them would be this: Be the best tenant you can be and they will be the best landlords they can be towards you. You have nothing to worry about as long as you treat their property with respect and get your rent in on time!
