I had a simple finish nail through a plastic cold water supply hose going to a shower. The technician showed up, saw what needeed to be done and quoted me $382. I told him then that I was unhappy about the price but had no alternative. I also called the original dispatch number to voice my displeasure. I timed the work; it literally took FIVE minutes. Annualizing that rate, Neerings charges $9,534,720 for their techncians time. It is extortion - plain and simple. I have run elevator service businesses, using Union labor in major cities. Our labor rate was $165/hour billed in 15 min increments - on call 24/7. What Neerings is doing is unconscionable.
