Neerings Plumbing Heating Air & Electric

We just had Neerings rewire my Mom's whole house and install a new A/C unit. I had 5 estimates done from 5 different companies on the rewire. My mom and I met with all the different companies, when Jaren with Neerings came out to do the estimate on the rewire he was VERY helpful and polite. There was two estimates that were close together and we decided to go with Neerings because of how professional Jaren was when he came out. My Mom's house is 60+ years old and far from easy to work on. Jaren and his helper(sorry didn't get his name) ran into several issues with the rewire, and the job ran longer than expected. He even worked until 10 at night on the final night to try and finish the job. With all of that they stayed true to their estimate and never charged anymore. As for the A/C unit we also got several bids. Neering sent out Dan to give us a quote on a new unit. Dan was great to deal with very professional. With never having an A/C unit in the past he informed us of the types and sizes we would need for the size of my Mom's house. Neerings prices and professionalism beat out the competition again. When Dan came out to do the instillation of the A/C unit he did a great job and answered all of my Mom's questions. We would highly recommend Neerings to anyone in the future. more

Dan H. came out to prep our furnace for the winter season. He was polite and helpful. He listened to my concerns and was able to let me know how things looked. I will be calling them in the future when needed! more

Neerings seems very expensive for undesirable results. I'll use Superior Water next time. I hired Neerings to fix a drinking-water faucet that leaked inside the faucet and around the base, and to fix a toilet that was clogged. The water faucet was a simple, on/off cold-water-only generic faucet for reverse osmosis drinking water. Neerings sent their plumber Jeff who has 21 years experience, and he came, and went away with the faucet not fixed at all, and the toilet only partially cleared, and a $383 bill for the visit with an astronomical quote to return and do better. Jeff charged me $143 to diagnose the leaky faucet. He didn't fix it, but quoted an additional $308 to replace it with a faucet he found by calling around. $280 to run a plumber-snake through my toilet ("auger"). The toilet can now flush, but he said he still felt something inside, that his snake could not dislodge; so the toilet could easily get clogged again any time. Really? $280 to ram a snake through the toilet for less than five minutes? Not more like $80, and then the extra cost can go to other/different work of removign the toilet? I didn't want it to still have a problem when he finished, so I asked how much to really fix it. He said that for $385 he could remove the toilet, look inside and maybe fix what's there (likely debris left by the original construction), and then replace it. That cost is the price of some new toilets! Else I could buy a new no-clog bigger-pipe toilet on my own (to be an upgrade to what I have), and he would install that toilet for $580 with no guarantee, or pay them $1349 to install a guaranteed replacement. I called Superior Water and they said I have a $90 faucet, and could replace it for 90+80, else offer an upgrade. Why didn't Jeff from Neerings, with his 21 years experience, not know on sight that this type of faucet cannot be opened and could be replaced with a $90 part? Seems like I should have paid him at most $180 for his visit, and not $383. more

HORRIBLE! DO NOT let them fix anything!!!!! They are incredibly OVER PRICED!! Ridiculously priced! They wanted $930 for a $200 job that Just Right Heating and Air fixed for me. I would recommend Just Right Heating and Air ANY DAY! :) They were amazing! NOT NEERINGS!!! more

I wanted to take the time to let you know how wonderful my husband and I thought Matt and Todd were. We had a pipe break underneath our kitchen sink. After calling several after hours plumbing services we were relieved to hear that they were able to assist us almost immediately. Ironically, we were entertaining guests and were so grateful their staff was able to assist us in such a timely manner. Matt and Todd were friendly, professional, informative and very proficient at their trade. I believe calling a plumber is a daunting task for most of us due to the high costs generally associated with the trade. It certainly made our experience less troublesome having had such a pleasurable experience with their superb staff. more

Recently Matt replaced our Water Heater, replaced some pipes and got everything to code for us. You can trust this man anywhere. He had a lot of work to do and it took awhile. Our only stress was worrying about him starving. I would've offered food, but I knew that he wouldn't stop to eat. He worked so hard and always kept a smile on his face. What a trooper! I've never appreciated Hot Water so much in my life! more
