I found Foxes Den Self Storage to be very professional, accommodating and easy to work with. It was convenient for me because I live out of town and when I called to check on availability they only had one 10x20 unit left. So I was able to reserve that unit and do everything over the phone rather than having to drive to the location. They told me I could move in that same day or just whenever I arrived in town. They were very thorough with explaining everything to me including the fact that my best security was the type of lock that I chose to put on my unit. Security doesn't come from fences or gates because people can just follow one another in and out. They told me the best type of lock to purchase and I found one at Home Depot for about $10. It was also explained to me that I was responsible for insuring my own contents in the unit if I chose to. I found renters insurance for $4.50 a month, can't beat that! When we arrived in town the next day it was late in the day and we couldn't get everything done that evening. I called their office and asked if I could leave our uhaul on the property overnight until we could return the following morning. They said that was no problem and there was no charge. The next day I spoke with a gentleman that was two units down from me and asked him if he had been pleased renting from this company. He said that he moved in about 3 months ago because he chose to leave a different storage facility about 2 miles away. He said the other Storage Company had recently had break ins and they broke into 68 units. He was a Speedway Police Officer and he said more times than not if someone is getting broke into it is someone that knows what is in the unit. Such as a family member, ex spouse or an employee. He said that when he called Foxes Den that he had mentioned it to the agent and she told him that unfortunately she had heard that also. He said that she was honest with him and told him that they had a few break ins several months ago as well. He said she was quick to remind him about the type of lock to put on the unit. So, all in all, I have been pleased with this Company. I've never been late on a payment so I dont run into any problems. I would definitely recommend this Storage Facility.
