POOR SERVICE & OVERPRICED--Do not go there! I had an issue with my trailer wiring harness for my truck. I spent Sunday afternoon testing with a voltage meter and determined there was no power reaching the left rear signal port on the wiring harness from the front of the pick up. I explained the problem to the service dept at Midway Ford & asked would it might cost to repair. The guy at Midway Ford service dept said about one hour of labor and I said OK and left it for them to fix the following day. Graham Rose from the service dept called the next morning at 10 a.m. saying it was going to cost $700+. I said I think you have made a mistake, this should be a simple fix, I could wire the own thing for $100, but I wanted to keep the original Ford wiring harness. He said no, this is more complex than that. I thought about it and it didn't seem right. I called Graham Rose back at 10:40 a.m. and said to stop all work and was told they were already done. It was too late. The total bill was $450 for 2.8 hours of work and diagnosis. How can 2.8 hours of work be completed in 40 minutes? We called later in the afternoon to speak with service manager, Jim. He said they have standard repair times for the work and some of the work was completed during the diagnosis even though we had not authorized the work. Jim said he would talk to the tech that worked on the pick up the next morning and call me back to explain. We needed the vehicle that evening so we paid and picked it up. They had replaced 4 fuzes & 1 relay switch. AND Jim never called back the next morning. Feels like were were ripped off and they have poor follow through on their customer service. We'll never go back to Midway Ford and can't recommend their dealership to anyone.
