First let me start off stating that Dr. Ashley is the most caring veterinarian that has treated my dog. This is my story------ I have an American Eskimo Dog that was seeing a different doctor in the area. She was always scratching herself to the point of extreme soars and loss of fur. They put her on prednisone year after year with no change in symptoms. They also told me to use flea dips, frontline flea preventative, and in home flea treatments. My poor dog was not getting better so I took her to see Dr. Ashley at Cordova Medical Center. The first time I walked in the door the staff greeted me. The waiting area was clean and there was no line of patients waiting to see the doctor. That was impressive to me since the last place I took my dog I would wait sometimes 3 hours to see a doctor and that was with an appointment. Dr. Ashley did some tests and found the problem to be allergies. She even did a full panel blood test to make sure everything was ok since prednisone can have some bad side effects with prolonged use. She recommended Comfortis for the fleas. Not only did my dog?s fur come back after a few months but her skin is looking better than ever. Dr. Ashley carries the most effective and up to date medicines for your fur baby. She always answers all of my questions I may have about treatments or medications that I give my dog. If you are looking for an amazing and caring Doctor for your fur baby I would not hesitate to make an appointment with Dr. Ashley at Cordova Animal Medical Center.
