Al seems to know his stuff, but he talks a lot more than he listens, and he smooth talks as well. I traded some cards for comics, and he told me that the comics I just traded were worth a lot and that I was probably planning on selling them on ebay*. I knew they weren't worth much, and it was clear he was trying to make it look like I was getting a good deal. I wasn't. But I wanted to get rid of the cards and didn't have time to sort them all and sell them individually, so he served a purpose.
He probably wouldn't be a bad guy to buy from, but I heartily recommend NOT selling or trading anything with him.
*He said one comic in particular was worth a LOT (his emphasis). I ended up selling it on ebay for $3 (I cleared $1 after shipping and fees. So by smooth talking, I guess I mean lying.
