If you see this review in other search sites, it's because I am too lazy to write the same thing with small changes several times. I am a regular customer, with a pull list at Generation X. I also use them for all my gaming purchases which includes Warhammer 40K, Pathfinder RPG, and so many more that it will make me seem like an even bigger arch-nerd than I want to admit. I have a great opinion about this store because they provide me excellent, if sharp witted service. Being a fan of dry humor will help you. If have a pretty good idea what I want, and describe it to the staff, they can help me find. It is easy to find gifts, if you describe your friend/relatives interest, they can locate something for you. They occasionally make fun of me for a selection, but it has always been taken and intended as humor. These are entertainment products, so I it is hard to take oneself to seriously if you are asking for back issues of ""Nancy In Hell"" because you forgot to put it on your pull list. If you have developed a relationship with them as a customer, they will incoming items or special order items and hold them for you at no additional cost. If you think the purpose of a comic and game store is to be a public comic and game library, this may not be the place for you. The things you read front to back are merchandise and how these guys pay their bills. The same for buying comics, they know the market, know the values, but will still have to buy these things at a price that will make them money. If you brag about buying all of your things on-line, you will be instantly hated, because you are the type of consumer that is killing that kind of business. I have seen other customers upset here, but it is typically because they aren't thinking outside of themselves at all. The rest of us are very loyal, and over time anyone would be. Is the place perfect? No, They have removed walls and expanding the gaming area, but with weekend crowds it can still be hard to get a space. The staff is often pulled in many directions at once and large pull customers with 10-100 books can be reviewing each title at the cash register, meaning a bit of line can form , which can be a pain if you are in a hurry. They have had issues with shoplifting, which means they have to send people roaming to watch instead of being able to direct you to what you need or ask about dates/availability/orders. So, for the long term nerd hobbyist, comics, games or just the never ending array of junk acts as a cry for help in our sad lifestyle, this place is invaluable. Over the years, these guys have not only been the pushers for my geek jones, but they have become friends, and they earn our support by the great job they do. more
