My ice maker in my KitchenAid refrigerator hasn't been working for a while but I finally decided to fix it. I called a different company and they said I need to replace the ice maker which would take a couple of days to order. I gave them a deposit, and ended up waiting for 3 1/2 weeks before calling Hi-Tech appliance repair. My advise to anyone looking for an appliance repair company, ask them if they are authorized by your manufacturer before anything else. As soon as I mensioned that I have a KitchenAid refrigerator, the phone operator at Hi-Tech said we are KitchenAid factory authorized. Ofcourse they said they have the ice maker in stock and they would come take a look. As soon as the technician arrived, he told me that my ice maker is fine and that I need a water valve which he also had in stock. He was done the same day in about 40 minutes. Hi-Tech appliance just gained a lifetime customer.
