Our Sub-Zero freezer started making excessive noise over the last few years (erratic defroster fan motor). I finally looked for a repair company, and based in part on Yahoo reviews, I decided to try Hi-Tech appliance repair. I was not disappointed. Professional, prompt, courteous, and a very reasonable cost. When the technician came out for the initial service call, OF COURSE the freezer performed flawlessly and had only factory new noise levels. The tech waited patiently for 45 minutes, and despite no excessive noise, believed what I told him, narrowed the problem down to the only issue it could be, and gave me several options with no pressure. (I decided to replace the fan motor--and the issue seems to be resolved.) more

We had a problem with our washer. Called the company we bought it from and they said JUNEBE they'd come in a few days - but to call the next day to find out. There doesn't seem to be any appliances that these guys can't fix. I took in my Speed Queen top load washer and Frigidaire refrigerator and they all got fixed at very reasonable prices and fairly quickly. I am highly satisfied and highly recommend Hi-Tech Appliances Repair. more

My ice maker in my KitchenAid refrigerator hasn't been working for a while but I finally decided to fix it. I called a different company and they said I need to replace the ice maker which would take a couple of days to order. I gave them a deposit, and ended up waiting for 3 1/2 weeks before calling Hi-Tech appliance repair. My advise to anyone looking for an appliance repair company, ask them if they are authorized by your manufacturer before anything else. As soon as I mensioned that I have a KitchenAid refrigerator, the phone operator at Hi-Tech said we are KitchenAid factory authorized. Ofcourse they said they have the ice maker in stock and they would come take a look. As soon as the technician arrived, he told me that my ice maker is fine and that I need a water valve which he also had in stock. He was done the same day in about 40 minutes. I have a Maytag dryer that was not drying the clothes properly, so I called a few local appliance places but decided to schedule with hi-tech appliance repair because they had the best prices. When technician arrived he was able to show me that my vent line was clogged just at the end behind my house. He removed the lint and didn?t even charge me the service call. I will definitely call hi-tech in the future for appliance repair services. more
