We went to seasons 52 this past Saturday night. The place has great ambiance with a musician playing songs at the bar, but not so loud that you can't enjoy your dinner conversation. The decor of brick and wood is tastefully designed with special attention to the lighting, not too dark but not too bright making the space very intimate. We were seated at a booth, you know the ladies love the booths, near the back and were quickly greatedd by our charming waitress Dawn who took great care of us for the next 2 hours. I had been to the coral Gables location previously but my boyfriend had never been. Dawn explained the menu and specials to us and offered to customize items to fit our needs. We started with appetizers of flat bread and ahi tuna. The tuna was superb, presentation as well as taste. The flat bread was an exceptional as well. Then onto the main course. I had vegetable soup and an arugula salad and I loved the favors. My boyfriend had the grilled rainbow trout and to quote him " it was badass" tender fresh and nicely grilled. Portions were filling without making you feel stuffed. And last but not least, the desserts. They are served in shot glass type containers so it's a small portion which is just perfect. The pecan pie with vanilla ice cream mouse was the best of our two desserts. The flavor was so rich and delicious. I can't recall the name of the one I ordered, it had mocha in the name with chocolate cake inside. Mine was good, except it could not compete against the flavor of the pecan pie. I could give 52 reasons why I love this place. I highly recommend you try it.
