I would strongly recommend searching for another dental group. Have you ever gone to a dentist office where the administrative office was over the dentist and their assistants? LOOK ELSEWHERE! As an established patient (with private health/dental insurance-spouse of a public servant), my family member thought they could receive an emergency abstraction since their pain level was at a 10. The family member asked if they would have to make a payment prior to the service. The family member was assured by the staff not to worry about the payment, they would be seen, and come in the next day due to availability the day the call was placed (understandable). We arrived extra early to ensure the service to be rendered around or about the scheduled appointment time. One of their staff members rudely insisted my family member to make a full payment up front before any services can be provided. When my family member stated they spoke to one of their representatives about making the payment up front (mentioned the representative by name), the staff member continue to insist the payment. Instead of viewing the situation of the patient as a priority, they view your money as their main concern. I asked one of their dental assistants for something to temporarily relief the pain until it was my family member's turn to be seen. The assistant agreed to help and stated they would bring my family member something. The same impolite staff member interrupted and instructed the assistant not to bring anything. She directed us to the store if my family member needed any temporary relief!!! To top it off, my family member had to wait over one hour and a half before they could be seen for the abstraction. Dogs in Austin receive better treatment than this! I was appalled by this experience. Just think, they service children too... Caution to the Wise.
