I found this place completely by accident. I had tried 2 other Italian places my GPS recommended but they were closed because it was a Monday. I am so glad. This place is beautiful and quaint. Beautiful wood floors, cranberry walls, rich tapestries, pretty lighting. Could be romantic but wasn't stuffy and could also be great for a family. The staff was nice enough to seat each group away from each other to offer privacy. I hate when the entire place is empty and they seat you on top of each other. The waiter was an older man, so nice and welcoming. He described the specials very well- tons of specials. We were given a complimentary appetizer of zucchini cakes and some sort of pureed red pepper sauce- delicious. The pureed mushroom soup was so good. The pasta/shrimp/scallops/tomatoes/broccoli rabe/garlic dish was the best pasta dish I've ever had. Ever. While waiting for our creme brulee we were given complimentary biscotti- absolutely delicious. Very nice wine list. Very attentive, friendly staff. Beautiful little town- will definitely go back to walk around. One appetizer, two entrees, and one dessert ended up being $65. Worth every penny.
