Periodically I skim reviews and did so yesterday when to my surprise I read some very negative feedback with regards to the Frog Pond. I have watched this special place grow from the very early days. I want to inject here that I am not a personal friend, employee or parent of an employee of this establishment. I am a long term customer, period. \r

Every year I have witnessed the hard work and effort the owners put into providing quality produce to those who appreciate the best at an affordable price. This is a family run operation and it appears they employ many (and need many!) helpers. I don't know what ""old lady"" anyone might be speaking of that might be considered the owner but I do know of a very kind hearted, weather worn, getting older - as we all are - absolutely lovely lady that I see working hard every time I shop at The Frog Pond. \r

The folks employed there have always been polite and helpful. The man who is the human calculator and runs off a tally faster than speeding train doesn't have the time to make small talk, obviously he is too busy getting us checked out and packed up. This sure beats waiting in line for price checks and malfunctioning cash registers as we experience is most retail establishments. My family, friends and coworkers envy the fact that I have The Frog Pond such a short distance from my home. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, that's fair, but when comments are so out of sync with reality...it just makes no sense to me. I hope my review will give those of you who have NOT been to The Frog Pond yet the encouragement to just get in your car and drive there. It is so easy to get to regardless of the direction you are coming from, don't miss out on this place. I know I am jumping the gun here but in the fall...pumpkin time...it is a breathing place to see so bring your camera. I hope this review helps give an honest perspective on this great establishment.\r
