These guys are your stereotypical scammer mechanics. I took my vehicles here for oil changes in the past. I live in an apartment complex, otherwise I'd change my own oil. I guess they assume that since I use a mechanic, I don't know anything about cars. Every time I take a car for an oil change they offer a free tire rotation (how generous). This gives them an excuse to "examine" your brakes. They will come back and tell you that your brakes are in a dangerous condition and should be replaced, as well as have your rotors changed. They will quote you double what anyone else would charge, added to the fact that the brakes are fine. Three times they have tried to get me to replace my brakes on three different vehicle. Three times, I have gone to a family member's house, removed my wheels and examined the brakes myself. Three times the brakes have been in working order with many, many miles of use left. Bottom line, if you go to Monro for an oil change do not let them sell you on unnecessary work. Find a mechanic you can trust, because it's not these guys. I'll not be taking another vehicle to Monro again.
