Several friends and I met a dear friend in the ER just this past Saturday (3/10/12). He was in so much pain in his entire abdominal area. He couldn't stand up straight and he had been vomiting for 3 days. He was even having ""mini-seizures"" that were cycling every 5 minutes or so. The hospital finally admitted him so they could find out what was going on and set a course of treatment. Well, today (3/12) after having several tests on his heart (Why his heart you ask, couldn't get an answer to that!) They said they ruled out any heart problems so discharged him. He never said he had pain in his chest! To which the doctor said, ""We admitted you because you said you had chest pain."" 7 witnesses and we all attest that he never said ""chest pain"". I just found out they sent him home today. He could barely walk, still in severe pain and throwing up as he went out the door, in the car and when he got home. His wife doesn't know where to turn now! He's not going to make it if someone wont help! NEVER GO TO MERCY CLERMONT!\r
Side note - the nurses where great! One said he needed a cat scan of his head for possible seizures and she would see that he got one. The doctor didn't listen to her either. The nurses were apologizing as he and his wife left the hospital. But I guess they couldn't do anything either. .....
