Casa D'Angelo is the best Italian restaurant for certain people, absolutely not for everyone. Someone who is happy with Italian- American food, or chains like Macaroni Grill, should not come to D'Angelo. It is far more expensive. The ingredients, preparation and philosphy are not the same. This is an Italian restaurant for people who yearn for the type of food they can find in Milan, or Rome or Sorrento, which is very different from what most Americans think is Italian food. It is a restaurnat for oenophiles who enjoy browsing through hundreds of wine selections from Sicily through Alto Adige and everything in between, who are thrilled to find a bottle of Amarone for $100 that is found no where else. This is not a veal parmigiana spaghetti and meatballs joint. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, you need to skip this place. Otherwise, you are in for a treat.
