I have had two experiences with them over the past four years, rejected their care in a third; both cost between three and four thousand dollars each and in both instances the pet did not survive the experience. They were kind and attentive to my pets, but they didn't know what they were doing. I know that Chesapeake Vet is in the same space, I paid for consults with them on both occasions, both times it didn't matter. \r

The first involved my 12 year old yellow lab who had neuropathy that caused her esophagus to collaspe. My vet should have put her down when I carried her into her office in the am. Desperate to not let go of a longtime companion, my vet did a tracheotomy to her and sent me to pet er. My dog spent two days struggling there at great expense before I let her go. In this case I feel the tests they did were useless, they did offer a complicated 12k operation to her (chesapeake) that she probably wouldn't survive, this was after 2 consults.
