My friends and family used to love staying here as we come to Panama City beach twice a year. We will not be staying again. Many months ago I was passing through on business. The free wireless they advertised was down and they assured me it would be fixed when I was bringing my family down in a month. When we returned it was still down. I spent about half an hr in the elevator stuck between floors making me late for a dinner date as well. The unit just above mine was being worked on, so there was no sleeping in on this vacation as they started pounding, drilling, and hammering at 8am, often earlier. Wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt and we were told that all of these issues would be resolved when we returned in 4 months. Well we just left and will never be returning. The free wireless they advertise STILL does not exist, the elevators are still barely working, the same construction is still going on all day everyday so there is no peace.
