Continental Condominiums

Was suppose to stay at Continental on the week of 9-1-12, Was moved rooms three times. Once because the owners overlapped the time of our stay. Was called back a couple hours later and told we had to change rooms. Was then assured we would have room 119 and when we got there after an 8 hour drive we were told we had been moved to the second floor. Found roaches crawling in the bed of the first room and roaches crawling across the floor of the second room.. Attempted to speak to the manager and she wouldn't even come to the phone. Went one mile down the road and stayed in a much nicer hotel for a lower price. I Will Never return to Continental Condominiums and I travel to Panama City Beach four times a year. more

My friends and family used to love staying here as we come to Panama City beach twice a year. We will not be staying again. Many months ago I was passing through on business. The free wireless they advertised was down and they assured me it would be fixed when I was bringing my family down in a month. When we returned it was still down. I spent about half an hr in the elevator stuck between floors making me late for a dinner date as well. The unit just above mine was being worked on, so there was no sleeping in on this vacation as they started pounding, drilling, and hammering at 8am, often earlier. Wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt and we were told that all of these issues would be resolved when we returned in 4 months. Well we just left and will never be returning. The free wireless they advertise STILL does not exist, the elevators are still barely working, the same construction is still going on all day everyday so there is no peace. Continental condos are a very good buy for the low,low rates. We only stay here year after year. Their daily rates go down on August 1st of each year, starting at an amazing low of $53.00 per night for a studio! These condos are a bit older, but they are clean. The owners/managers are very friendly, the beach is right off the elevator (no stairs), which is good for the elderly, handicapped or small children. I highly recommend continental. more

The Contental Condominiums are very nice. The rooms are very clean and the workers are very professional and very helpful. The have a very nice swimming pool. more
