I had an accident and decided to let Geico handle the entire repair/claims process. Since the Geico claims agent is based out of this Classic Collision location, Classic was responsible for repairing my car. Boy oh boy was that a mistake. The overall quality of work of this shop is very questionable, and the corners they cut is obvious. I am a car enthusiast, so I have a high attention to detail for my vehicle. The repair itself was straight forward, however, the paint work had countless fish-eyes (little bubble dots in the paint), a horrible job was done when masking off sections that weren't painted, and you know what...instead of actually replacing an obvious broken piece, which in this case was a plastic bracket that was broken into 2 pieces that connected my bumper to my fender....they melted it down the two pieces in order to join them back together. I have photographic proof of this. Now it all makes sense as to why after I picked up my car from them, and the bumper/fender connection popped right back off a few days later...and I bring it back to them to show them the issue, they tell me that someone must of hit me or nudged the bumper to break the bracket. Nice job on that lie Classic. After about 7 months before taking the initiative to actually replace the broken bracket myself, thats when saw the state of the original bracket and how they melted the plastic to try to fuse the two broken pieces back together. So in essence, they took my money and charged me the cost of a new bracket, but instead, still reused the same broken bracket.
If you want to go to a shop that would do something like that, then be my guest. I think it my fault for even letting Geico handle the claims and repair process and using this shop. Even when my mechanic looked under the car after the repairs, he asked who did the work because it looked very sloppy. NEVER will I use this shop again nor will I recommend anyone to use this body shop. They do shitty work plain and simple. For all of you reading all of these positive reviews, they are fake. They are phony reviews inserted by the shop themselves to make it seem like their work is more favorable than it actually is. I mean come on...just look at them. They are quick 1 or 2 sentence blurbs. Nothing at all going into the details of the repair or anything.
If you love your car and only want the best repair work done on it, then DO NOT TAKE IT TO CLASSIC COLLISION in Chamblee.
