I've been taking my son to PLP since he was an infant and now he's a walking talking toddler. It's the one place he plays independently and I can relax and know he's safe and having fun! I get equally as much out of our visit by interacting with the other moms and the owner- or catching up on e-mails and reading.
I am also very grateful for the owner's stance on normalizing breastfeeding. The WHO recommends breastfeeding for at least 2 years and my toddler still nurses like it's his job! I have only been shown encouragement and support from the owner and other moms. We mom's gotta stick together and encourage one another instead of judge each others parenting when it differs from our own.
