As a mental health provider, I am always looking for a good doctor to refer to, especially a psychiatrist that works with children (and adults) who is a great doctor who works well with patients and families. I have referred 2 children to him, and the feedback from parents is that Dr. Shoaf has a great bedside manner, relating well to children, and takes time to answer parents' questions thoroughly. Both families were very pleased with his care, his extensive medical and psychiatric knowledge, as well as his ability to see patients quickly. Both of the children I referred are doing much better as a result of his treatment. I will be recommending Dr. Shoaf in the future without hesitation!
