I am a mother of two boys(5/2) and we have been very pleased with Academy Swim. My boys do one private lesson a week. My oldest son has been swimming there for over 3 years now, not because he can't swim, but because he loves it! Our primary goal for enrolling him was water safety, but my son fell in love with the water. He has a genetic disease that effects his lungs and the swimming benefits him physically and mentally :) I put my youngest son in lessons and we had a rough start. He was afraid of the water and cried at quite a few lessons. We stuck with it and he is loving it now! The staff has been great with us over the years and has been very helpful and positive. I noticed that some some reviews are unpleased with the prices, but I love the teachers, clean facilities and indoor pool. I never worry about the water being too cold and I love not having to put sunscreen on them for lessons. We have also had two birthday parties at the academy as well and my kids had a blast.
