ignoring the warning\r
I have been storing my belongings at liberty storage for ten years and have never had a problem. Easy access in and out. The facility is clean and dry at all times. The piped in music, well that's another story. Anyone, no matter what your background is, or where you come from, or what level of education, or degrees you have taped on your walls, or with only the smallest bit of intelligence and or common sense, would know that when you store your personal things in a storage facility you must keep everything off the floor at least 18'' (eighteen inches)....preventive care and maintenance of my property is of great concern to me. I installed coated steel shelving the first day I rented my ground floor unit. Mother Nature's ''SANDY'' came. Not a drop of water touched my belongings. We were warned how severe the storm would be many days in advance, which gave you plenty of time to realize that just in case water rose up to a level that might possibly damage your items in your storage unit now was the time to make adjustments and reposition your belongings to protect them. Those of you that were to lazy or did not heed the warning serious enough to prepare in advance for any type of water infiltration suffered the consequences. This was not the responsibility or neglect of the owner of Liberty Storage, only your own lack of thought and preparedness. \r
AND...I, like so many other millions of home owners or apartment renters in this country pay to have ''off premises'' insurance protection which covers losses that occur outside of my home. If you did not have this type of insurance you have only yourself and Mother Nature to blame, not Liberty Storage.
