DO NOT EVER do business with these people. I purchased two used tires, which were warranteed for 30 days. After 20 days, one of them developed a slow leak so we went back to the shop. When the tires were put on, the ""technician"" over-tightened the lug nuts, so when they tried to take the tire off, they stripped the bolt. After attempting to remove the wheel by hacking at it, ruining the alloy wheel by trying to gouge the bold loose, failing at applying heat (they did not have the proper equipment) and wasting my husband's time, they shrugged and said ""it is what it is.""\r \r We were informed, at the time, that we would have to return at a later date when the ""technician"" could ""bring some tools from home."" Today, when we called to inquire if it would be a good time to bring the car back, we asked to speak with the owner/manager (the person I personally dealt with when I purchased the tires) and were told ""he's never in."" (If that's so, then why did I deal with him when I purchased the tires?) We were then informed that the speaker on the telephone remembered us and told us we were out of luck because ""as I told your husband, you have faulty lug nuts."" Ah, yes. I'm a woman so I'm supposed to fall for the ""faulty lug nut"" line. When I protested, bringing up the subject of liability, he hung up on me.\r \r I know enough about automotive work to understand that perhaps my lug nuts are of lesser quality but I was not the person who applied too much torque when using a pneumatic impact tool to put the wheel back on in the first place. Further, I'm not the person who gouged my alloy wheels with chisels when attempting a rather unprofessional job at removing the nut/bolt. \r \r Their attitude seems to be one of a big ""*&%@ you."" They refuse to make this right and now I am out one wheel and a lot of money to take it to an ethical professional, which is what I should have done in the first place. I don't know if the man I dealt with has a split personality but I had no idea that they would not be ethical or honest after the sale.\r more
