No one want to have their vehicle towed. That being said, when a towing company damages your vehicle in the course of towing and that damage was avoidable, it is inexcusable. My vehicle was towed, and it had two flat tires causing one side of the vehicle to be lower than the other for obvious reasons. Normally in such a situation, a 2x4 is placed to avoid the vehcile/tailpipe from scraping against the ground as the car is being placed in the flat bed towing truck. Even when I asked the driver to do so, the driver ignored my request both during the loading and unloading of the vehicle. I made it a point to let the driver know, and I was met with ignorance and intimidation. Late at night, you do not want to push it beyond a certain point even when the other person is clearly at fault because you never know what crazy thing someone may do. Inexcusable. Simple courtesy is to be as careful with someone else's car as if it was your own. In this case, a simple precaution which is normally taken was not even followed to avoid damaging the car. If you end up needing a tow, then do yourself a favor and use a different company.
