Well, RUN RUN RUN. These people ARE CROOKS. It's a family business and the whole family is in on the shady deals, of selling cars before auction, towing thefts, and they'll steal the dentures you leave in the front seat. In other words. They'll clean out your car .... Steal it all. Never use these redneck racing people, they are charging more if you have insurance, so they get more money. It's like triple the charge. These people should be investigated, regardless of who they have contracts with. Can you say insurance FRAUD???? These people will get caught sooner or later. Make a clean living like the rest of us, you POS's more

I've read some of these comments and I'm wondering if the posters used the same company that I purchased a car from last year. Truth is, these guy's buy and sell damaged vehicles, I think they also do a little towing as well. Granted they aren't the most proficient in the game but they are definitely not the worst. Honestly I kind of felt I took advantage of them when I purchased a car last year...I got it way way below market value. Needless to say, I'm referring a buddy of mine this year to do the same\r \r What I found out is that if you want a good deal from these guys then you should go at the most opportune times as I did. I pad roughly a $1000 for a clean 2003 Ford Taurus. As I was leaving another customer wanted to purchase that same car from me. more

TERRIBLE - they picked up my car - knew I wanted it taken to the dealership - they literally dump my car in the back of the parking lot and never let the dealership know my car was there. My car went missing for 7 hours - hence the dealership never started working on my car. I learned my lesson in paying them upfront versus through the dealership. more

Extremely rude to their customers. My car was hit from behind and my back window was smashed out. I called to ask them to put a tarp over my window to protect my carpet. They told me not to call before 9 am and hung up (it was 8:57am). I called back after 9 and asked them again, they basically told me no. Do not use this company. Terrible customer service. more

Do not use this company. Ruined a car door, they lied through the entire process, got sued after a 10 month battle and lost. Tow-truck driver lied in court and was exposed by the officer associated with the event.They ended up paying over $2,100 dollars in repair bills by court order. The owners wife, acting as cashier, lied though her teeth when alerted of my damaged door. The truth was always on my side and they ended up losing big time. At that point, they were one case away from losing their contract for towing with Dekalb county. Be smart, save yourself a lot of time, and agony, NEVER USE THEM. more

No one want to have their vehicle towed. That being said, when a towing company damages your vehicle in the course of towing and that damage was avoidable, it is inexcusable. My vehicle was towed, and it had two flat tires causing one side of the vehicle to be lower than the other for obvious reasons. Normally in such a situation, a 2x4 is placed to avoid the vehcile/tailpipe from scraping against the ground as the car is being placed in the flat bed towing truck. Even when I asked the driver to do so, the driver ignored my request both during the loading and unloading of the vehicle. I made it a point to let the driver know, and I was met with ignorance and intimidation. Late at night, you do not want to push it beyond a certain point even when the other person is clearly at fault because you never know what crazy thing someone may do. Inexcusable. Simple courtesy is to be as careful with someone else's car as if it was your own. In this case, a simple precaution which is normally taken was not even followed to avoid damaging the car. If you end up needing a tow, then do yourself a favor and use a different company. more

Unbelievable. My car was stolen. I had to wait to receive a loan from family. In that waiting period, the prices were jacked. I expected $15/day, but the administrative costs were $40 after 4 days, then double that after 8. Add that together. Plus the base and the daily storage. What? Also, the men are so rude on the phone. The woman is nice. Just can't believe I'm paying SO MUCH to get my stolen car back. more

Nobody enjoys having their car towed, needless to say it isn't the most thrilling experience. However; I can honestly saw S&W makes sure that it won't be unpleasant and that your properties are kept safe. The owners and their employees are outstanding people, but that goes without saying. It never ceases to amaze me how much free time people have on their hands; if you have something bitter or ugly to say, keep it to yourself or take it up with someone else. If its not about S&W towing then we don't need to hear it. Uncalled for, hateful posts are a reflection of your lack of maturity, not this company. This is City Search, not Facebook. I do hope people continue to use their services, they are exceptional people who go above and beyond and work hard at what they do. Hope this helps! more

I would like to start out by saying is this not only a great company but the people who own and work for this company are great too! Obviously they have done something right and followed the rules to have brought their business this far. I have worked with this company and personally know the whole family and know for sure that these people are to good for their own good at times. They have helped and changed so many people's lives. The accusing someone of killing someone is really brave, if you had any sense at all you would know you have slandered someone's name.. That review is very untrue and completely ridiculous! I know these people. I feel compelled to speak out. They are just like everyone's family they are not perfect. I have found them to be some of the most generous and forgiving people I have ever met. I will not stoop to addressing the personal attacks. I can only say I would be deeply hurt if it was ME someone was cruicifying on the internet. I believe what goes around will come around. I thought this site was a review of their business. If so you can STOP right now. They are right up there with the BEST. They have employees with years of combined experience. There equipment is some of the best. The police , Gov't, and many Large Successful companies choose them for towing. Do they have employees that can be like a Bull in a China shop and sometimes be discourteous, do they make mistakes? I am sure, BUT they also have a large group of dedicated, loyal, honest employees and from my point some very friendly, cordial, workers. I would suggest this company to my friends and relatives. I can only make one suggestion , they need to install a pay phone on the premises. Other than that they are a good company that like any other will continue to make mistakes but God willing they will get better and better. Thanks for taking the time to read my review ! more

S&W is one of the best towing companys around. I get them to tow all my vehicles. Very professional and trustworthy. I had s&w tow my car and accidently left some valuables in the car, well needless to say everything was not only in the car, but marked on the invoice. I couldnt believe that the time was taken for that. Along with that there prices are very reasonable with diesel being at 4 dollars a gallon! All I can say is that whoever started this business needs a pat on the back because they have done a dam good job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more

This company is run by a family that is just your typical rednecks. They are unprofessional and I have heard they are crooks. Either way shady. One of their drivers was even kicked out of the nascar series recently for drugs. Hes only the second driver ever look it up for yourself. I heard he even killed a 15 year old girl a few years ago. Everytime ive had to deal with them they are mean and rude. When I found out that their driver i think his name is shane got kicked out of nascar and killed a young girl i will never deal with them again. Drugs are a bad thing and apparently these rednecks haven't figured that out. don't get involved with these people their family is bad...all of them. more

A friend of mine's car got stolen on 7/20 or 21 (she was out of town at the time). The car was seen on 7/25 on the back of a semi and reported to the police. This was AFTER the initial police report was made on the 21st. When my friend called, the lady was mean and unprofessional and completely unhelpful and told her that the car had been there for 7 days, which is IMPOSSIBLE! I would not be surprised if they HIRE criminals to steal cars, crash them and then call S&W to tow it. They should be investigated. more

S & W are crooks. I work for a nother tow company, I got called out to tow a truck to the company base. Parked it where the driver told me to. Next morning shop needed it moved, and saw i left my tow lites on back. Called S &W out to move it. Guess what my lites are missing and s&w where the only ones to touch the truck other than the shop. BEWARE S & W ARE THEIFS...... more

Not only did i wait for over two hours, when i called to check on the tow truck they were very rude. Steve the manager was unprofessional and very confrontational...When the Tow truck finally show up they went to the drop-off point instead of the pick-up, and they argued that we gave them the wrong information. Steve hang up on me and never showed up to the pick up point....Run do not use this service more
