I will never take my dogs back here! I have a 1 yr old English Bulldog that we boarded so that we can go to San Diego to see my son's graduation from boot camp. I called on Monday morning to let Bryerlane owners know that I would not be able to pick him up until Tuesday at 8:00am because our flight was not landing in time to pick him up on Monday. The man that I spoke to was extremely rude and said ""He finally went to the bathroom outside this morning."" He asked me where our other puppy was and I told him that he was with friends and he said ""Oh! And I guess they didn't want this one."" He hung up the phone and never once said anything about a rate change (usually $20 a day). I went this morning to pick my pup up and the same man was there. He said ""I don't remember him being such a pig! He was crapping all over the place!"" I told him that my dog goes to the bathroom immediately after eating and apologized for not giving him that instruction. He said, ""NO! We tried everything! We even left him outside for 2 hours and he still crapped in his cage!"" He took my debit card and swiped it and said over his shoulder, ""And he is special care."" I asked him what that meant to which he said, ""An extra $10 a day."" I told him to hold on a minute... he never told us that it would be an extra cost. He said it was on the form we signed. I asked to see it because my husband was the one to drop off. My husband signed it, but Ken wrote in $30 a day after the fact. He argued with me, told me ""why should you have to pay the same amount as someone with a good dog?"" I told him that being a professional dog boarding facility, he should realize that there are times when he is going to have to deal with dogs ""crapping"" and finally just told him to just give me my credit card and dog back and I stormed out in tears. Unbelievable!
