I was quite surprised to see the previous review. Butch has been in business for decades and knows this business well. I've stopped by 2-3 times a year for the past 5 years before making a purchase. Not once did I feel rushed or overlooked. Butch is a friendly man who is passionate for music, his products, and his customers. His wife, Kathy, is the bookkeeper and its unfair to expect her to discuss the equipment with customers ... this is high end audiophile hardware ... the ultimate toy store.
Butch spends a lot of time with each and every customer discussing their needs, desires, budgets, and expectations. Once again, this is superb equipment so a healthy budget is desirable ... but not necessary. For example, he carries SONOS for the wireless iPod generation. High end equipment such as Rotel, NAD, B and W, Magnapan, and McIntosh equipment (and more) is stacked throughout the store. My passion is McIntosh equipment and Butch is a premium dealer per McIntosh Labs website. I'm listening to my new McIntosh MXA60 system with a B and W 610 XP subwoofer ... what a joy ... crystal clarity, warm, seductive sounds.
As Butch spends time with each and every customer, its unfair to expect immediate service. This is a successful family owned and operated business ... they take pride in what they provide to their customers ... it's not just about a sale. I called Butch today and he thanked me several times as I shared my passion for this system.
