I made an online purchase for some gaming items from The Bat Cave (James Kellar). The shipment had missing and damaged merchandise. At first Kellar refused to respond to my emails until I made a formal complaint.
He responded, saying he knew nothing about the things he sells for a living on a daily basis. This makes him either incompetent, a liar or both. He then refused to send the missing merchandise, replace the damaged merchandise or pay for shipping on a return.
Other online reviews say the guy rips off anyone who isn't local to his store. I wish I had read those reviews before doing business with him. I advise anyone buying from this vendor to ensure he guarantees (in writing) his merchandise and return policy. There is no reason the buyer should have to pay for a seller's dishonesty or incompetence.
