I had to pick up a mounting deck here for a new car stereo i purchased elsewhere that didn't have the correct mounting deck in stock. I was given an incorrect part, despite clearly stating what the year, make, and model of my car was. Not only was the part super overpriced, but it was incorrect (which I didn't notice at the time). I was pressed for time so I was unable to shop around for this part and needed it that day, to install the stereo. Found out the part was incorrect after trying to install the stereo with it and then only after noticing the packaging said it was for a different year of my car. Since they have a no refund policy, I was out of luck and stuck paying an obscene amount of money for an item that is useless to me.
The encounter with the owner while trying to return this item (only noticed there were no refunds once I went all the way back to the store) was really frustrating. It was his fault I needed to return the item in the first place, since it was the wrong part. He said because the packaging was open, he couldn't take it back. I really wouldn't have been so angry if he didn't jerk me around and make me wait 20 minutes just to tell me that. He claimed that it was impossible to modify the mounting brackets (which it isn't, it's just annoying to do) and that if the stereo got installed, how could I be returning this item? He acted like I was trying to rip him off, and return a different mounting kit in the packaging because it was ""open"" and he couldn't tell if it was the same part. I found this extremely mean and rude, because the truth is he sold me an incorrect part, the person installing the stereo made due with what they had, and then I didn't need the part anymore so I wanted to return it.
The whole situation was really frustrating but it was made worse with the owner's attitude and disorganization (thats what made him give me the wrong part in the first place, because there were papers EVERYWHERE). This was my only experience with this store and I will never be returning.
