Do not buy from American. We ordered a mattress set (including mattress, box spring, and frame), and had it shipped to our house. I had just been relocated for my job, so we never opened anything and simply had movers pack everything up and ship it to our current location in CA. When the mattress set arrived in CA, we assembled it and found that the bed frame had been incorrectly ordered. We received a bed frame designed for a head board/foot board, of which we had neither. We called American about this, and they said there was nothing they could do if we couldn't bring the frame back to the store (not feasible seeing as we live in CA now). So now we are stuck with a bed frame, which we had paid for, which doesn't fit our bed (metal brackets stick out 5 inches past the end of our box spring, ugly and a injury hazard). Customer service was very poor, and they showed no apathy to our situation. AVOID
