I am a student at Wayne State University. I purchased a book from Marwil's Bookstore on 9/6/11 before heading to class at around 4pm. After the class was over I realized the course was too easy and I could test out instead. I head back over to the bookstore around 7pm asking for a refund since I will not be needing the book. Staff was overtly rude and unhelpful telling me she "couldn't read" when I asked her to read the return policy stapled to my receipt, and even made me cry. The policy states that "A full refund will be given within the first week of purchase". I spoke with the owner of the store and he gave me the run around telling me the only way that he will accept the return is if they keep 25% of the sale. The book cost me $182, 25% would be right around $40 or $50, and as a college student that is a significant amount of money lost. I have filed a claim with my bank in order to do a charge back and expect nothing less than a full refund. They cannot assume that because I am
more
