I have meaning to write this for a while. As a fashion and wardrobe stylist, I frequently shop the market. I have had nothing but bad experiences at LF. \r

At this location, they regularly close earlier than they are supposed to. Just today, I tried to pick up two items that I already had in mind and they had the door locked over five minutes before they were supposed to close. To make matters worse, the sales associates tried to run the time by insulting my intelligence. I can tell time...thanks. The ditzy manager (named Karen) knew they were all wrong but tried to play it off by acting stupid. I understand that people are tired and would like to go home after a long day but these airheads are being paid to do a job (an easy job) and they are making their company lose money. They could have made a quick and easy $200. When I called to complain, the guy was indifferent and technically hung up on me. Whenever I come here, I get a weird, awkward and standoffish stare from sales associates who would rather talk about all they plan to buy with their employee discounts instead of actually helping customers. They seem to hire ditzy local girls (and guy) from the neighborhood who want discounted clothes and not actual professional sales associates. Only once have I received proper service here and that was from an associate named Nicole back in July. The staff at this LF needs to be more professional and mature.\r

Overall, the company itself needs to stop fooling their consumers. The clothes are nice and trendy but are overpriced for the quality. The best time to shop is during their annual sales when everything is the price it is worth in the first place. They sell generic mass produced designs at brand name and even designer prices. I am very careful and perceptive with what I decide to purchase. The worse aspect of the products sold here are the jewelry pieces. Adjustable rings that should not be sold outside of Toys R Us are $60 dollars here...yikes. I am happy that the bad service (and terrible music) at several of their stores (Scarsdale, Union Square, Greenwich, Soho...I will give Cobble Hill a pass, their staff tries to be attentive but falls short due to a lack of proper training) has turned me off from the company. I really need to stop being tempted to waste my money here. The JC shoes can be bought anywhere.\r

Why shop here and deal with their crap when I can stick to my favorite labels T by Alexander Wang, Haute Hippie, One Teaspoon, Vena Cava and Rag and Bone? Even better, I can save and shop at TopShop or hey...Forever 21 (which has the same quality and designs for the price of LF's tax) There are also well curated and edgy boutiques like Oak and Pixie Market near where I live with a far superior selection?\r

Dear LF Metro Area stores, step up or get out of New York!\r
