People's Restaurant is just a great place to go eat and to have drinks with a friend. I went a few days ago with a few girl friends and we sat in the bar. We first ordered appetizers of fried mushrooms and the macho nachos. We ordered some frozen margaritas because they were on special and just wanted to get a taste on how the drinks were. The margarita was suprisingly good for the price and so we ended up ordering a tropical life saver, a strawberry dacquiri, a pina colada, and the peoples paradise. The bartender did an awesome job! I really enjoyed the drinks and would go back just for them. We weren't very hungry after such large appetizers so I shared a plate with one of my friends. We had the chicken fried steak. It was so good and the best thing was that it was hand breaded! Ugh I've tasted a frozen one at other places and I just don't like the taste so I was happy to hear it was hand breaded. The gravy was home made too! I have never had such an experience before. I will definately go back. Great food, service, and drinks!
