beware after paying $80 to have the man look at the fridge he had no clue how to disassemble it to see the frozen fan and almost broke the plastic in half jerking on it before I asked him to stop and look up how to disassemble it. After he looked it up he laughed at himself for being so stupid he said.
I had to sit and watch the entire time just to find the screws that were flying out all over the kitchen floor. He then used a blow dryer to melt the ice but held the unit directly to the ice. I was worried he'd electricute himself so I suggested he hold the dryer a little further away so he didn't electricute himself and he replied ""I do that all the time hehe!"" I told him nicely that I didn't want that happening in my house and he just waved his hand at me and said it would be fine.
He had no clue what was wrong so he called Samsungs customer service department and told him the problem I was having that I described to him. They gave him their best guess what was wrong and what part I needed to buy. I paid $80 for him to call Samsung?!?!
The part needed is $20 but they want me to pay $267 for what will take15 minutes. It's basically unscrew the back, pull out the old part and plug in the new one. This was our experience, I hope you read this review before calling this company and putting your faith in them
