I called Battens to repair my washer (whirlpool gave me the list of people in the area) and they seemed so friendly and fast! Tech came out the next day and said he had to order a part and it would be in tuesday and they'd have it installed tuesday or wednesday. i called tuesday and finally got a person to answer the phone. she said she'd call right back with info. no one called! i called wednesday and i got the same response, ""let me look it up and i'll call you right back!!"" NO CALL! Thursday morning i finally get ahold of someone and they said they'll be out that afternoon. he comes out and installs the expensive part and my washer still doesn't work. says it'll be another 185 for another part! from what i can gather he has no idea how to actually fix the washer. he keeps calling Whirlpool and kind of goes with what they say it might be and you have to pay for all his attempts to fix it. Total waste of money. Speaking to the people at the office is like talking to a wall. Please save yourself all the money and headache and call someone else! So sorry that i didn't read the reviews first...
