I only gave them one star because I had to. I will never use this company for any service again. I called them last week for their pest control service. I had an appointment for today from 8 am to 12 pm. When the technician never called or showed up I called John Moore and was told that the technician tried to call me but there was no answer. The woman then gave me some off the wall phone number that I've never even heard of that the technician tried to call me on. I forgot to mention that when I made my appointment the girl repeated my real phone number back to me. I told them that was not my phone number and it has never been my phone number! She then told me the technician was on his way to his next service call and would be more than happy to come to my house tomorrow. I told her to either get someone out here today or give me my money back. Yes, they required payment before they even provided a service...that should have been my first clue! I was told that a manager would call me as soon as he got back to his desk and that he was standing right there next to the person I was speaking with. He never called. I called back 35 minutes later and he was extremely rude. He made it sound as if I intentionally gave them the wrong phone number and was mad for no reason. He started talking about gas prices and how there were no technicians in my area at this time so he couldn't get anyone out here today. He then asked me what he could do, besides getting someone here today, to make me happy! Wow, considering the fact that I took off work TODAY and had an appointment for TODAY...I would say getting someone here TODAY is the only thing that's going to make me happy! He said he couldn't do that so I demanded my money back. He said it would be 3-5 business days...we'll see how that goes. \r

Please do not waste your time or money on this company. Sadly, I had the same problem with them a year ago when I called for AC repair. I got the same excuse about the phone number! I know, I should have learned my lesson then. I'll never call them again.
