I had an issue with a clogged drain on my heat exchanger and had to call for service. Upon receiving the bill, I was charged over 200 dollars for a service call within normal business hours.\r
\r
I was then told my furnace was extremely rusted and wouldn't be safe to have over the winter. I was quoted over 9k to replace the condenser, furnace, and exchanger. My house is under 1100ft..\r

After receiving a second opinion, I found out that not only should it cost a couple grand less than that, my furnace was working fine and didn't need to be replaced before winter. Oh, and the flushing should have costed half as much as what I was charged for a 15 minute job.\r

Thanks Edwin, at least you can get the job done. I hope others benefit from my post.
