When working on vehicles that fail emissions, we have to use known parts that will pass emissions. There are lower and higher grades of parts. Cheapest is not always better. Our goal was to get you to pass emissions, which our record with motor vehicles is 100% passage. You thought only the convertor was making you fail, when in this case you had Two (2) other codes stored in your computer, a misfire in cylinder # 4 and a crankshaft performance code, which in this case were making you fail emissions. Our labor rate is right in line with other shops that do emissions work. When your vehicle came back in the second time, we charged you one (1) hour diagnostic time since it was a totally different problem. We diagnosed no power coming out of your fuse box, visually we could see all coroaded and melted wires. We quoted you with a used fuse box. The proper repair is to replace the fuse box, and not to cut out the bad parts for this it j
