Our car needed tire's and an alignment right away, we checked at Village Car Care, Farm & Fleet, Lois, River Crest, and Firestone. The best price was at Village Car Care. I called them Monday Morning made an appt on the same day in the afternoon. Asked if they could do an oil change at the same time and they said it would be no problem. I dropped the car off and their friendly staff said it would be about 21/2 hours to do all listed above. I returned EARLY to see that our car was just being returned from it's test drive! Met with Car Care Tech who talked to me about our car. Friendly service again while printing out our bill which was very reasonable. Would recommend them to anyone. more

I had an oil change and tire rotation done on Sep. 19, 2011. I came in at my appointment time and was promptly greeted; took my keys and started the work right away. The customer waiting area is clean, with a working tv, current magazines and comfortable chairs---and I even had a free cup of coffee. I exchange pleasantries with the office staff while my car was worked on; was charged exactly what I was quoted; car was pulled up to the customer door and I was on my way in about 30 minutes. I have used this family owned car care facility about 15 years and have always been told of any problems and had discussions on how to handle repairs. Fair pricing, good and efficient quality work. In reference to the comment from Natalie P.\r When working on vehicles that fail emissions, we have to use known parts that will pass emissions. There are lower and higher grades of parts. Cheapest is not always better. Our goal was to get you to pass emissions, which our record with motor vehicles is 100% passage. You thought only the convertor was making you fail, when in this case you had Two (2) other codes stored in your computer, a misfire in cylinder # 4 and a crankshaft performance code, which in this case were making you fail emissions. Our labor rate is right in line with other shops that do emissions work. When your vehicle came back in the second time, we charged you one (1) hour diagnostic time since it was a totally different problem. We diagnosed no power coming out of your fuse box, visually we could see all coroaded and melted wires. We quoted you with a used fuse box. The proper repair is to replace the fuse box, and not to cut out the bad parts for this it j more

This place is a total rip off! They sneak in hidden charges and their price of "so called" labor, is extremely high. I don't know where they get their parts from, but their cost of parts is almost double of what it should be! They also take advantage of those who know nothing about auto mechanics. \r I had work done on my car at this place, and even though it was quality work, it was work that didn't even need to be done! A friend of mine authorized the work, but if I would've known what they were doing and charging, I would've went else where. I knew what was wrong with my car and told them I knew the codes and didn't need any diagnostic work. They said they will just "double check" for their sake. That ended up costing almost $90! This repair shop gives a good quality repair for a fair price. They are honest and reliable .. the vechile will be done on time. It is nice because it is a local private owned business. more

This is your typical car repair place for a smaller town like Mukwonago. The prices here are somewhere between average and high. I have visited here a few times to get price quotes and always end up going to KK Auto in New Berlin instead. However, I hear the work they do is good. PROS: workmanship CONS: price more
