It is one thing to be ignored - that is their standard operating procedure. And of course, they don't have the item you are looking for - well, you takes your chances.
But its quite another thing to be asked to pick up the coins you've just counted out, and place them - reverently - in the cashier's hand as a show of ""courtesy"" - while juggling your wallet and bag.
Actually, there are other hardware stores in the area, and I intend to patronize any of them instead. Maybe one of them will appreciate having customers.
