Recently I took my two kitties to the shelter. It was necessary because of my health issues. They were the kindest and most considerate people to me. They knew how very difficult this was for me to give up my Sonny and Tiger. I was able to stay as long as I wanted to and say good-bye and it was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. I called almost everyday to check on them and they were adopted within 3-4 days to a very good home. How do I know this? The people at the shelter called me and let me know. How sweet is that? I will always be grateful to them and let me tell you that whoever wrote those past negative reviews did not know what they were talking about. This place was immaculate and the people there care. They just get a little overwhelmed because so many of our animal friends are being brought to the shelter. Please do not have a pet if you are not going to love, protect and take good care of them. After all, they do not ask to be mistreated. I loved mine so much and it was devastating to have to give them up so please think before you have a pet. All they need is love.
