I have been living in the Twin Cities my entire life and only recently been out to Burnsville to try the Mediterranean Cruise Cafe. Over the years, I have heard so many great things about this restaurant, but never got the chance to go and try it. I made reservations for a group of girls and I last month on a Saturday night. First of all, the establishment from the outside is just AMAZING! When we walked in, we were all in awe. I don't think I have seen a restaurant so beautiful! The place was packed. We had reservations at 7pm and we were seated around 7:15pm. Our table was close to the belly dancing stage, so we had a great view of the shows. From then on, the night was perfect. Our server was a young gentleman that I believe was related to the owner of the place. Since we were all not very familiar with Mediterranean food, he guided us through the menu. He ordered us a variety of food for the table, so we could all try different items off the menu. We were all blown away by the food! So delicious! I have had hummus before many times, but this place makes the best hummus I've ever tried! We had gyros, the flaming cheese, Greek salads, kabobs, lamb rack, Mediterranean stir fry
