I was lied to by every person I dealt with at this dealership - all 8 of them. Why you need 8 people involved when I negotiated and practically bought the car over the phone just bewildered me.
I called for a Ridgeline and was told it was in stock. Then when I negotiated a price (The Consumer Reports Buying Service Price) I was told the car was not in stock, but a dealer Demo was, which they tried to get me to come see.
Then I was told it was in stock. So I confirmed the price, the 0% financing, and that I would not be charged ANY additional fees except taxes and tags.
All was set until I got there. I spent 4 hours there and even walked out once - all for a car I thought I had bought over the phone, for the most post. I expected to go in sign a few papers and drive away.
I was hit with a higher price by a dishonest manager named Les, who said the person I was dealing with that I was told was the finance manager was just a tele-marketer. That turned out to be not true because when I walked out finance manager, Natasha called me back to give me what I expected. However I was told the price would be $190 higher. When i came back and I was preparing to sign I was told of a $299 documentation fee, which I confirmed earlier I would not have to pay. So Natasha lied to me roo.
The whole experience was a nightmare. If it wasn't that I could'nt get exactly what I wanted somewhere else, I would have gone to California before buying from Garden State Liar's Honda.
STAY CLEAR OF THE UNSCRUPULOUS PEOPLE!
