i joined GISFW in January 11 hoping to find something that would motivate me to really get back in shape.
I have always participated in organized sports but never much liked 'working out'. But with a few years of minor injuries hindering my activities I found that I needed a more focused effort to stay in shape.
I love GISFW because there is a fun communal aspect to working out where everyone is in it together so it feels kind of like a team effort. The trainers , Joe McGath and Sean Griffin (trainer/mgr), are awesome. They are fantastic with varying the workouts and working with each person to their own abilities and they also foster a feel good atmosphere.
I have lost 12 lbs in 6 months but more importantly can really notice a difference in how I feel. I've also been able to meet a lot of interesting and fun women from around town who I had never met before and I consider that a great benefit too!
