I got out of 6 months of custody in jail and was at LJC the following morning. The life I was leading was taking me down fast & hard. I entered LJC, followed direction, had tough times, had good times. Worked through some problems and probably created some too. I was there to work on my recovery and did just that. It was no
""vacation"" or ""Holiday"". (For me or the staff.) They helped me build a solid foundation for dealing with life without drugs/alcohol.
That was over 4 years ago. Life still has ups & downs but overall, is much better than before and gets better all the time.
I believe you that you get back exactly what you put in to the ""program"". No one can do it for you but, Dr. Rose and her staff certainly help me achieve and maintain my sobriety.
I thank all the people involved in my recovery (Too many to list.) and wish all the best to those trying to get there. It worked for me and my only regret is I didn't do it sooner.
